Credits
Credits are a form of digital currency within DECTRIS CLOUD, allowing users to access additional resources beyond their base subscription. They can be used to obtain:
- Storage: Active storage space for data that needs to be processed or accessed frequently.
- Archive: Long-term storage for data that is not actively used but needs to be retained.
- CPUh: Compute hours for processing tasks using central processing units.
- GPUh: Compute hours for tasks requiring graphics processing units, beneficial for intensive computations.
Credits provide the flexibility to scale resources according to project needs without committing to long-term packages.
Key Features of Credits
- Validity: Credits are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
- Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be transferred between individual users.
- Conversion: Credits can be converted into storage, archive, CPUh, or GPUh as needed.
This system allows for adaptable resource management, ensuring that users can allocate their Credits to the areas most critical for their research activities.
